The High-speed train from Lanzhou to Xinjiang went into service

On Nov 26^th, the first High-speed train in north-western China went into service. The train starts from Lanzhou – capital of Gansu, via Xining of Qinghai province, Zhangye, Jiuquan, Jiayuguan of Gansu province, Hami of Xinjiang Uyghur’s Autonomous Region and ends at the capital city- Urumqi, totaling 1777KM. This is a double track electrified rail road and need only 11.5 hours from Lanzhou to Urumqi.
