The 8th Dunhuang Silk Road International Tourism Festival will open at Jiayuguan on June 19th .

The theme of this year's tourism festival is " A symphony of silk road, a pleasant journey to Gansu ". The festival is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Gansu Province. The Kyrgyz Republic is the guest country of this tourism festival, the World Tourism Organization and the World Travel Federation. Asia Pacific Tourism Association is a support unit. The tourism opening ceremony series will be held in Jiayuguan City from June 19th to 20th.
