Gansu Zhangye•China Rally Race kicks off on July 20th

2018 Zhangye • China Rally Championship was held in Ganzhou District, Zhangye City from July 20th to 23rd. The event was co-sponsored by the Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration, the China Automobile and Motor Sports Federation, the Gansu Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Zhangye Municipal People's Government. Co-organized by the Provincial Automobile and Motor Sports Association.

In three days, 90 of the 31 teams had to complete the 721.74 km race, including no less than 236.26 km race. In the 6 stages, there are 5 long track races and 1 super short track race. Zhangye Station is known as the “most beautiful track” and has the only all-sand stone track in China. More than 200 kilometers of competitions run through the desert, river valley and Danxia.
