2023 Dunhuang International Fashion Week opening show was held in Dunhuang City
On October 15, the opening show of 2023 Dunhuang International Fashion Week was staged at the Yumenguan Site scenic area of Dunhuang.
Wang Haiming, Chairman of the Municipal CPPCC, Gong Jiajia, deputy director of the Provincial Cultural Tourism Department, and the main person in charge of the Dunhuang Municipal Government attended the event. The event was also attended by brand representatives, designers and heads of relevant institutions.
The event is co-sponsored by Dunhuang Municipal Government, Jiuquan Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism Bureau, Jiuquan Cultural Tourism Group, Dunhuang Cultural Tourism Group, Dunhuang Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring Tourism Development Co., LTD., Jiade Mingcheng (Beijing) Culture and Technology Co., LTD. The event aims to inherit the original intention of Dunhuang culture, promote the spirit of the Silk Road, highlight cultural confidence, and show the beauty of China. At the opening show, colorful costumes presented Dunhuang elements, and fashionable clothes and Dunhuang culture were integrated under the witness of the guests.
It is understood that this fashion week by the famous fashion designer Zhang Zhaoda and the world's top wedding dress brand Mark Deliona, with love as the theme, the Dunhuang art gene cleverly integrated into the clothing design, with clothing interpretation of the beauty of romantic love, showing the rhyme of Dunhuang culture. The successful holding of the event will build a high-end platform for the majority of domestic and foreign industry designers, models and fashion lovers to interact and learn from each other, further promote the in-depth integration of Dunhuang culture with fashion and tourism, and enhance the city's brand image.
