What to Expect
Your Hotel Jiayuguan Pass Restaurant Over-hanging Great Wall Weijin Tomb Your Hotel

Pick up at the hotel and be transferred to the Jiayuguan Pass
Visit Jiayuguan Pass.
Our guide will introduce historical background of the old pass and tell you interesting stories behind it and even story on one special brick. Then our guide will accompany you walk up the wall of the inner fort to explain the structure of the whole pass, the function of each part played in war and construction method. In the end you will be escorted to the west most gate – the national gate of China during Ming dynasty.
12:00-1:30 pm
Take you to local restaurant for lunch.
1:30 pm - 3:30
Be transferred to the Over-hanging Great wall.
Visit Over-hanging Great wall.
The Over-hanging Great wall is an integral part of Jiayuguan pass, which was built on the ridges of Black Mountain 11 km from the city. Our guide will escort you up the wall and explain its history and function.
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Be transferred to Wei-jin tomb
Visit Wei-jin tomb
Our guide will introduce the historical background of the tomb and tell you the story of its discovery by local farmers. Then our guide will take you to the underground tomb and explain its structure and painting on bricks.
5:00pm - 6:00 pm
Be transferred back to your hotel.
