Mogao Grottoes Digital Center

The center was an important part of “Mogao grottoes protection and development project” and was approved by National Development and Reform Commission. The opening up of the center bring visitors and visiting mode with revolutionary change. All visitors must make reservation online before they visit the caves. Visitors need to make their way to the center to watch 2 digital films of 20 minutes each, which can provide an opportunity to know the historical background of the Mogao grottoes and to have a virtual tour of the finest caves. Then take a shuttle bus to Mogao grottoes where professional cave guide will take you to the caves and give explanation.
